         <description><![CDATA[Robin Yap, LLB, MSc Ed, DM (abd) is a Partner at Phronetic International, a Toronto-based all independent consultants network focused on developing and implementing Technology-to-Training Integration Strategies and Programmes, Training Department Staff (Instructors, Instructional Designers, Training Manager) Standards of Practise, Next Generation Human Capital Development, Competency, and Certification Programmes.  

Robin's 20-year career includes working with and for global organisations like <a href="http://www.accenture.com/Global/Services/By_Subject/Business_Process_Outsourcing/Accenture_Learning/default.htm">Accenture Learning </a> as well as Fortune 500 companies like <a href="http://www.sun.com/training/">Sun Microsystems</a>, <a href="http://jdedwards.com/corp/en/public_index.jsp">JDEdwards/Oracle</a> and <a href="http://www.mmc.com/">Marsh & McLennan</a>. 

Believing in the <a href="http://blog.robinyap.com/2007/03/need_for_increased_researchpra.html">scholar-practice </a>model, Robin authors and speaks at international conferences in the areas of technoloty-to-training integration, adult learning, leadership development, and training department strategies specifically quality, standards, certification, and competency models. He is also an adjunct professor at George Brown College teaching a class entitled "<a href="http://coned.georgebrown.ca/owa_prod/cewskcrss.P_CrseGet?subj_code=TETR&crse_numb=9048">Trainer's Toolkit for the Classroom of the 2010s</a>."

Robin consults internationally on developing blended learning courseware, programmes and strategies, training department standards, and training staff certification and competency models.]]></description>
